All creativity has come to a screeching halt since moving to Victoria. Possibly because of the fact I work at McDonalds.

I need to find something new...

i've been practicing my drawing skills a bit, setting pastels aside until i can fine a book that will will explain techniques and a bit more information on the medium.
also i figure it will be good practice for pictures in pastel if i know how to draw what i want.

i haven't drawn anything i find worth posting as a deviation but there are a few things in my photobucket that i've drawn just for a little update on where i'm at.
any critism would be great.

end of term approaches again, i'm not too happy with my work but term 2 always seems to be where i slack the most. i'll pick it up, i know i can.

tomorrow i'm going with my cousin amber to an orientation for the coquitlam animal shelter. i'm interesting in doing some drop in volenteering. amber also told me that if you volenteer and jobs come up they will tell the volenteers before anyone else. i definitally want to do some dog walking, just to get some excersise for myself and apparently there is a drop in for the cats as well where you play with them and pet them for awhile. it'll definitally give me something to do until i get an actual paying job at least.

i'm starting to pick up momentum with my life, i realise things are closer than they appear and i need to get my act together.

also, new cat. she's adorable but definitally not igby. it will take some getting used to i suppose.

well a belated happy holidays to everyone.
i need to find a way to stop christmas from occuring in my life. it's really such a stupid holiday, every year i try and get all thoughtful for the gifts i give and in return i get gift certificates and a bratz mini calander (seriously in what universe have i ever shown interest in this ghettolicious fad for seven year olds?????). although i do like spending time with the family. maybe eliminate the gifts and keep the family part.

anyways, i picked up some pastels the other day and decided that i want to learn more about this. i fooled around with them for a bit and posted two things i liked.

also, my sweet darling igby has run away and i have at least 2 dreams a night where i find him and just as i'm carrying him i wake up cradling something that's not there. really, i am ridiculously upset about this. thankfully my parents are doing everything in their power to track him down. the spca is open finally on wedensday so we are going down there.

in other news i'm going to victoria for new years i want to stay longer than just overnight though... who else wants to house me... nattttt? and then tina and jono are coming to van for some sushi!

oh p.s. i desperately need something like a life to busy myself with.

Alright, I'm doing well.
My report card actually turned out great and I finally got to dropping photography. No more photography for Tara. Well class wise, I'd still actually love to get a good camera (Like Nats) but money is tight.
I haven't been doing much of anything lately, so not much to write. Just thought I'd do a quick update.

this end of term could kill me. well english could kill me actually and maybe history. the horrible thing is that the only reason this is going to happen is because i slacked off as usual.

i need to stop doing that.
